GNM Nursing Eligibility Criteria

  • The students must have completed 10+2 with English from a recognised senior secondary education board like ICSE/CBSE/State Board.
  • (10+2) 40% Marks In Aggregate From Any Recognized Board
  • The students must be 17 years of age as of 31st December of the admitting year. The upper age limit is 35 yrs.
  • Registered ANM with a pass mark can also apply.

GNM Nursing Course Duration:

The duration of the GNM Nursing course is three years. The paramedical courses are designed to equip each student with the correct skills and make them competent nurses. The admissions are based on entrance exams conducted by the state government. The course includes subjects like Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Gynecological Nursing etc. Both theory and practical are part of the course.

  • Practical and theoretical training is imparted during the course.
  • It includes six months of mandatory internship clinical practices.
  • Internships are available for students in nursing homes, hospitals, and private medical firms.
